About Mrs. Stephanie O’Morrow
Mrs. O’Morrow has 11 years of experience teaching in the home, through co-ops, and volunteer substitute teaching at local Christian schools. She teaches first- and second-grade students here at Utica. She has experience in Montessori-style teaching, Charlotte Mason style, and traditional schooling like Abeka and BJU. She also created her own curriculums throughout the years as needed. She continues her education through online classes, research, and reading.
Personal
“I have been married to my wonderful husband since 2008. I have 6 children from preschool through high school. We live on a farm where we have raised steers, goats, our pet pig, chickens, ducks, guineas, rabbits, dogs, and cats. I raise a couple cozy vegetable gardens for fun. I love being with my children and seeing them learn and grow. Teaching is one of my greatest passions along with health, music, research, writing, creating, and working alongside my husband as we rebuild our homestead. I love learning, and my goal is to not only educate children but to instill in them a love of learning that surpasses graduation.”
What Mrs. O’Morrow loves about teaching at Utica
“I’m very excited about teaching here at Utica and seeing the children grow in knowledge, skill, and grace.”
Ministry
“I am the junior church teacher at Bible Baptist Church of Utica. My students range from 2 years old to 3rd grade. I also enjoy participating in music ministry when I can.”
